Delete your NextPark account

Overview

NextPark ("NextPark," "we," "us," or "our") lets you request deletion of your account and the personal data associated with it. This page explains how to submit a request, what we delete, what we may keep, and how long the process takes.

How to request account deletion

To delete your NextPark account and associated data, follow these steps:

1. Email support@nextparkapp.com from the email address linked to your NextPark account.
2. Use the subject line NextPark account deletion request (or similar).
3. In the message, ask us to delete your account. If helpful, include your display name or profile details so we can locate the correct account.
4. We may reply to verify your identity before processing the request.
5. After verification, we delete your account and associated personal data. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days.

You can also delete some content yourself in the app (for example, posts you created) where the product supports it. Account deletion removes your profile and the data listed below.

Data that is deleted

When your account deletion request is processed, we delete or de-identify personal data tied to your account, including:

• Account and authentication identifiers
• Profile information (display name, avatar, borough, attributes, experience, social handles, and related profile fields)
• User-generated content (social posts, comments, park and direct messages, park photos, highlights, and uploaded media)
• Activity and gameplay data (queue participation, ETAs, favorites, friend connections, ratings, contributions, and similar in-app actions tied to your account)
• Push notification tokens and in-app notification preferences for your account
• Reports you submitted, where deletion is permitted

Data that may be kept

We may retain certain information after account deletion when required or permitted by law or for legitimate business purposes, including:

• Payment and payout records processed through Stripe (for example, transaction metadata, refund/dispute records, and connected-account records required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, or legal compliance)
• Records needed to resolve disputes, enforce our Terms of Use, or respond to legal requests
• Security, audit, or abuse-prevention logs retained for a limited period
• Anonymized or aggregated data that cannot reasonably identify you

Retention period

Verified account deletion requests are typically completed within 30 days. Information we are required or permitted to retain may be kept for longer periods as described in our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
